iRacing and WSC Partnership to Bring TCR to iRacing

The popular racing simulator iRacing has partnered with WSC to bring the renowned TCR Series to the virtual world.

iRacing, the world’s leading motorsport simulation platform, and WSC (World Sport Consulting) have joined forces to bring the TCR Series, a renowned touring car championship, to the forefront of esports racing.

As part of this partnership, iRacing’s existing fleet of four TCR touring cars, which includes the Audi RS 3 LMS, Hyundai Elantra N, Hyundai Veloster N, and Honda Civic Type R, will be officially branded under the TCR banner. Additionally, the dedicated race series will be renamed the iRacing TCR Virtual Challenge.

This collaboration between iRacing and WSC is a significant development for sim racing enthusiasts and esports competitors seeking to experience more competitive TCR racing. By integrating the TCR Series into its platform, iRacing provides a realistic and immersive virtual environment for drivers to compete and improve their skills.

“We couldn’t be more excited to announce our new partnership with WSC to add TCR to iRacing,” said iRacing president Tony Gardner. “The TCR formula is globally recognized as the standard for touring car racing, and the four TCR vehicles already in iRacing have proven to be very popular with racers of all skill levels from around the world. TCR is also very active in esports with their own events, making the alignment an even more natural fit.

We’re excited to work with them to bring the TCR license to iRacing and expand what is already a very popular discipline on the sim. We’re looking forward to many great years of virtual racing to come!”

Marcello Lotti, WSC President said: “We are proud of this new partnership with iRacing because it will give a crucial contribution to further strengthen the image on TCR competition in the North America region. On top of this, the partnership with such an important platform will be especially appreciated from all TCR fans around the world who are interested in SIM racing activities.”
