Six intense qualifying rounds from May 8th-25th determine the 2024 Gran Turismo World Series Manufacturers Cup field.
The road to the Gran Turismo World Series 2024 Manufacturers Cup begins next month with the highly anticipated Online Qualifiers. From May 8th through May 25th, elite Gran Turismo racers from around the globe will battle it out over six rounds of intense competition.
Each of the six qualifying rounds will consist of a Qualifying race followed by a final race, with the results determining the all-important Global Manufacturer Rankings. These rankings will decide which 12 manufacturers earn the right to send their top drivers to the prestigious World Series events.
The Manufacturers Cup field is already set to include official Gran Turismo partners Toyota, Genesis, and Mazda. But the other coveted spots are still up for grabs based on the Online Qualifier results across the GT1 League. The manufacturers finishing highest in the Global Manufacturer Rankings will complete the elite 12-team field.
Once that field is set, the World Series kicks off in July with three world-class events hosted in Montreal, Prague, and Tokyo respectively. At each event, the 12 qualified manufacturers will be represented by the highest-ranked competitor from that event’s host region – the Americas for Montreal, Europe/Middle East/Africa for Prague, and Asia-Oceania for Tokyo.
With massive prize money and even bigger dreams on the line, the chase for Gran Turismo racing glory begins next month.
