Scheduled Gran Turismo 7 Server Maintenance

Scheduled Gran Turismo 7 Server Maintenance

Gran Turismo 7 has an upcoming server maintenance period which means some temporary limitations and changes to the game’s online features.

During the scheduled maintenance window on April 25th players on Gran turismo 7 will only have access to two specific game modes whilst server maintenance is in effect: the ‘Arcade Race’ races within the ‘World Circuits’ section and the ‘Music Rally’ mode from the Title Screen. All other online features, including the popular ‘Sport’ mode, will be unavailable during this period.

One of the key implications of the server maintenance is that players will not be able to save their game progress while the servers are offline. If you’re in the middle of a race or campaign, any unsaved progress will be lost once you exit the game.

To ensure your hard-earned progress is preserved, the developers recommend reconnecting your console to the online servers after the maintenance period concludes. At that point, you’ll be able to save your current game status as usual.

While the temporary limitations may be frustrating for some players, server maintenance is a necessary aspect of online gaming, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and security. The development team has likely scheduled this downtime to implement updates, patches, or other backend improvements to enhance the overall Gran Turismo 7 experience.

During the maintenance period, players may want to take advantage of the available offline modes or explore other aspects of the game that don’t require an online connection. Alternatively, it could be an opportunity to take a break from the racetrack and enjoy some real-world activities.

Once the maintenance is complete and the servers are back online, players can look forward to resuming their progress in Gran Turismo 7’s full suite of online features, including the popular ‘Sport’ mode, and continuing their journey through the game’s immersive racing experience.
