On Wednesday, February 28th, the CMS Formula Renault 3.5 iRacing Series will take place at the virtual Red Bull Ring in Austria. You are invited to join or watch this exciting series featuring the challenging FR3.5 single-seaters, which are well-known for their speed and agility.
The Red Bull Ring is known for its short lap times and elevation changes and often produces exciting races with plenty of overtaking opportunities.

Circuit History
- Österreichring (1969-1995): The original circuit, known as the Österreichring, was built in 1969. It was a fast and flowing track but was considered too dangerous for modern Formula 1 cars.
- A1-Ring (1996-2003): The track was redesigned by Hermann Tilke and reopened in 1996 under the name A1-Ring. Formula 1 returned to the circuit in 1997.
- Red Bull Ring (2011-present): Red Bull purchased the circuit in 2004 and after significant renovations, it reopened as the Red Bull Ring in 2011. The track layout remained mostly the same as the A1-Ring.
