2024 FIA Motorsport Games Esports Expansion

Calling all sim racing fans, the FIA Motorsport Games Esports genre throws down the gauntlet with a double dose of competition in 2024.

Valencia, Spain gears up to host an unprecedented showdown of virtual racing prowess as the 2024 FIA Motorsport Games unleashes a double dose of Esports excitement!

From October 23-27, witness the world’s top sim racers battle for glory across two categories: GT and Formula 4. Prepare for edge-of-your-seat action as drivers navigate endurance challenges in Assetto Corsa Competizione and adrenaline-pumping sprints in iRacing’s FIA Formula 4.

This year’s Games mark a significant expansion for Esports, with 10 new competitions igniting the virtual tracks. Alongside the captivating FIA Formula 4 Esports race, prepare to witness global rivalries unfold across GT, Touring Cars, Single-seaters, Drifting, Karting, and more.

Over 100 drivers, representing their nations with pride, will converge in Valencia, making Esports the most fiercely contested discipline at the Games. The addition of Formula 4 promises even more intense battles as the world’s best virtual racers vie for supremacy.

In a groundbreaking move, the entry fee has been slashed by 20%, making the Games more accessible than ever. For just €800, drivers can now chase gold in both GT and Formula 4 categories, opening the doors to aspiring champions worldwide.

The City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia will provide a stunning backdrop for the Esports showdown, featuring 24 state-of-the-art simulators from a leading manufacturer. This ensures a level playing field where every driver can showcase their skills on the ultimate virtual stage.

Niroshan Pereira, President of the FIA Esports Commission, echoes the excitement: “The Esports GT Category with Assetto Corsa Competizione proved hugely popular in Marseille, and we have no doubt that the Esports F4 Category with iRacing will be a similar success.”
