MX vs ATV Legends Significant Update V2.10

The latest update to MX vs ATV Legends bring a slew of exciting enhancements, significantly improving the gameplay experience.

MX vs ATV Legends receives a significant update  with plenty to look forward too, not only that, fixes and improvements have been made in V2.10.

Revamped Scrubs for Enhanced Control: First and foremost, scrubs have undergone a substantial overhaul. They are now designed to be looser, making it easier for players to execute and recover from them. This update not only makes scrubs safer, especially on steep jumps, but also introduces more reliable mechanics. Additionally, players can enjoy new animations, adding a fresh visual flair to these maneuvers.

Fair Play with AI: No More Bullying: A significant change has been made in the interactions between players and AI competitors. Previously, players often found themselves at a disadvantage during collisions with AI racers. This update addresses that issue, reworking the impact mechanics to favor the players. Now, it’s the players’ turn to assert dominance on the track by strategically shoving their AI opponents.

Improved Terrain Interaction & Smoother Rides in Ruts: Chassis collision has been reworked. This change enhances how motorcycles interact with deformed terrain and other obstacles, particularly in deep ruts. This adjustment aims to reduce the occurrence of odd, unrealistic wrecks, leading to a more immersive and smooth riding experience.

ATVs: Heavier and More Realistic: All-terrain vehicles (ATVs) have received some much-needed attention in this update. They now possess a heavier feel, reducing the excessive bounce experienced during hard landings. This change, coupled with improvements to the suspension system, offers a more authentic and controlled ATV riding experience.

Customization with Button Remapping: In response to player feedback, the game now features button remapping capabilities. Players can customize their controls by remapping nearly every input, allowing for a more personalized and comfortable control scheme.

Expert Supercross Tracks: A New Challenge For those seeking a pre-season challenge, the Expert Supercross tracks have been upgraded. These tracks now feature deeper whoops and larger jumps, demanding players to be more cautious with their speed and rethink their strategies for navigating rhythms.

Dynamic Race Starts & Warm-Up and Attack Poses: The race start experience has been enhanced with new animations. Players can now see warm-up animations at the start gate and adopt attack pose animations. To get into the attack pose, players need to hold the clutch and throttle while leaning forward, preparing them for the moment the gates drop.

New Graphic Kits and Season 2 Compound DLC: Players can now customize their bikes with new graphic kits from Rival Ink, available for the 2023 OEM DLC MX Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Honda models. Additionally, the Season 2 Compound DLC offers a dual experience. Players can test their skills on the KTM RD Field and then tackle the challenges of the GOAT Farm, updated for its return in the Legends series.

  • Physics: Reduced penalty impact to steering control when triggering a near-wreck with that penalty.
  • Physics: Adjusted forces required to trigger some near-wreck conditions related to landing and sliding.
  • Physics: Improved collisions between vehicles, especially MX bikes, and reduced instances of wrecks during minor impacts.
  • Physics: Reworked vehicle-to-vehicle collisions to give Players an advantage over AI. Player vehicles can now push around AI vehicles more easily. During a collision, AI vehicles are now unlikely to overpower player vehicles or cause them to wreck.
  • Physics: Increased the mass of the ATV slightly to make it feel more grounded. Adjusted ATV suspension to compensate for adjustments to the mass and chassis collision. ATVs are now heavier and bounce less on hard land landings.
  • Physics: Increased the influence of forward and backward leaning on suspension. Pitching the rider forward and backwards will now make it easier to keep the front-end up in whoop sections.
  • Animation: Added three new warm-up animations to riders at the start gate: shoulder hype, shadow boxing, and glove warmer.
  • Animation: Added attack pose animation to AI riders before the gate drop. Get yourself into the attack pose by holding the clutch and throttle then leaning forward to keep the front wheel down.
  • Animation: Added unique rider animations to scrubs and quick scrubs to help differentiate them visually. Both animations now start on the face of the jump, have improved rider body position, and are responsive to inputs while airborne.
  • Animation: Updated some near-wreck animations to appear more natural and better illustrate the cause of the condition.
  • Animation: Improved cornering animations to help communicate when the bike is losing traction. During the slide, the eider becomes more upright and will start to lose balance right before completely sliding out.
  • Animation: Fixed over-extended suspension on some MX bikes when viewing bikes in the Garage menus.
