Forza Motorsport Update 3: New Content and Fixes Incoming

The upcoming Update 3 for Forza Motorsport is set to further enhance its stability and performance as well as new content, this update MUST DELIVER to appease the masses. This update is a response to the most commonly reported issues from the player community.

It’s important to note that while some fixes will be immediately noticeable to players, others are more subtle yet essential for maintaining overall game stability. The development team’s ongoing efforts to address these bugs demonstrate their commitment to improving the gaming experience for all users.

This proactive approach in tackling both visible and behind-the-scenes issues is crucial for ensuring a smoother, more reliable gameplay experience.

This includes some of the following:

  • Fixed issue in which the Driver Level visually appeared to reset to Level 1 after downloading Update 2 and entering Test Drive in Free Play.
  • Rebalanced the impact on front and rear downforce when being drafted by another car.
  • Fixed issue causing custom wheel input layouts to reset to their default settings after relaunching the game with both a controller and steering wheel connected to the PC or console.
  • Fixed issue which allowed players to sell their Builders Cup reward cars, preventing them from reobtaining the cars and completing their associated Reward Showcases.

Here are some of the PC-specific improvements coming in Update 3

  • Stability and performance are improved on lower spec PCs.
  • Fixed various random crashes in multiplayer races specifically on PCs with AMD GPUs.
  • Reduced the occurrence of a bug where the track or other objects becomes invisible while racing.

Hockenheim

Hockenheim, a premier European racing circuit, is celebrated for its blend of high-speed straights and a challenging, narrow final sector. Originating in the 1930s, the track has undergone several transformations, the most recent of which was conceptualized by renowned track designer Hermann Tilke in 2002.

This blend of history and modern design makes Hockenheim a unique racing experience. In Forza Motorsport, players can explore Hockenheim’s versatility through three distinct layouts available in various game modes like Career Mode, Multiplayer, Free Play, and Rivals.

These layouts include the 2.8-mile Full Circuit, offering a comprehensive experience of the track’s features; the 2.3-mile National Circuit, providing a slightly shorter but equally challenging race; and the 1.6-mile Short Circuit, perfect for quick, intense races.

Each layout presents an opportunity to test and refine your skills in Time Attack mode, where you can compete in various car classes. The leaderboards for each class add a competitive edge, encouraging players to master all three layouts with their favorite car builds.

This variety in tracks and competitive modes showcases Hockenheim’s rich racing heritage and offers a diverse, engaging experience for Forza Motorsport players.

Forza Motorsport Update 3 is starting on December 12th
