HOW TO GET SET UP FOR 2023 MOTOGP ESPORTS CHAMPIONSHIP!

With the first round challenge of the 2023 MotoGP Esports championship starting on June 28th, heres how to get setup, check it out.

The MotoGP racing title is a wild ride of two wheeled adrenaline that follows the current 2023 world championship, with the Esports championship coming up, here is an official how to get set up.

The MotoGP™ eSport Championship returns for a seventh straight year as it looks to build on the successes of recent times with a revised, streamlined series for 2023! Here is a brief overview of how you can get set-up to take part in the first Online Challenge which starts on 28th June!

FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO REACH THE VERY TOP

1. AUTHENTICATION PROCESS:
Before participating in any of the qualifying events, you must be enrolled to compete in the MotoGP™ eSports Championship. To start your journey to the top, login with your esport.motogp.com account or register a new one and be sure to accept the 2023 Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Terms of Participation.

Once again, the series is based around the official MotoGP™ Videogame – MotoGP™ 23. Gamers can compete on a variety of consoles – the Sony PlayStation® 5, the Sony PlayStation® 4, Xbox and PC – in the Pro Draft which is made up of 3 Online Challenges.

 

2. THE CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:
The Championship is comprised of two main phases; the Pro Draft and the Global Series. The MotoGP™ eSport Pro Draft is the Official Selection Phase and consists of 3 Online Challenges based on a time trial format. The Global Series is the final stage of the 2023 MotoGP™ eSport Championship and comprises 4 rounds of competition Three are virtual events, before the final round will be held at Ubeat Live Barcelona, a gaming conference known across the world.

3. PRO DRAFT 
The 2023 Pro Draft will consist in 3 Online Challenges which will be disputed in time attack mode on a particular track, MotoGP™ rider, bike and without any opponents.

On each Challenge, the gamers will be distributed by platform in 2 different Standings; 1 for Europe and 1 for the Rest of the World.

Top 15 gamers per platform and World Region (Europe, Rest of the World) will be awarded points depending their finishing positions using the official MotoGP™ scoring system. The players who have more points after Challenge 3 will be classified for the Draft Selection.

 

4. PRO DRAFT SELECTION
Each Team must pick 1 MotoGP™ eSport Official Rider and 1 Reserve Rider from the Draft Pool during Draft Pick window.

The Reserve Riders will only be able to compete in the Global Series in case an Official MotoGP™ eSport Rider ceases to participate in the Global Series for reasons including but not limited to withdrawal, disqualification or medical issues.

In total will be will be classified 22 gamers (15 from EU and 7 from the Rest of the World)

 

5. GLOBAL SERIES
The Global Series is the final stage of the 2023 MotoGP™ eSport Championship and comprises four Rounds of competition which will take place in four different MotoGP venues.

Of the four Global Series rounds, the first three will be remote events, where gamers will compete from home.

But for the first time ever, the fourth and final event will be held at Ubeat Live Barcelona, a gaming conference with world renown, runs on 11th and 12th of November.

All races will be held on PC but every gamer will be able to play with their preferred controller.

The Global Series shall determine the ultimate winners of the MotoGP™ eSport Championship and you can follow all the action on selected TV Broadcasters and Digital Channels.
