Le Mans Ultimate Update 4 Patch 2: A Game-Changing Overhaul

Le Mans Ultimate Update 4 Patch 2

Racing just got more realistic in Le Mans Ultimate with its latest update which refines the simulation experience through targeted fixes and performance balancing.

The popular sim racing title Le Mans Ultimate has rolled out Update 4 Patch 2, bringing a wave of fixes and improvements that enhance gameplay across tracks and vehicles.

This update addresses several issues while refining the balance of performance for a more realistic racing experience and builds on its previous update. From basic gameplay fixes to detailed car-specific adjustments, this patch demonstrates the commitment to creating an authentic racing simulation.

Key Gameplay and Interface Improvements

One of the most notable fixes addresses an issue where harder tire compounds would unexpectedly be applied to cars when selected through the setup menus. This fix ensures players get exactly the tire performance they expect during races.

Additionally, the HUD system has been improved to properly display best lap times set by other racers before you joined practice servers. This change helps drivers better understand the competitive landscape when they enter a session.

Track-Specific Enhancements

The update also includes several important fixes across multiple iconic racing venues:

At Circuit of the Americas, AI drivers will no longer hit the pit wall when leaving the garage during practice and qualifying sessions, creating a smoother experience for all racers.

Le Mans Mulsanne Layout received critical safety improvements with the addition of missing barrier collisions on the famous Mulsanne straight. This makes high-speed sections more realistic and challenging.

The Spa Endurance Layout now features proper timing for pitlane exit lights during race starts and includes previously missing night lighting in the extended pit lane area.

Both Monza and Bahrain tracks had their DRS zone configurations adjusted to prevent detection by third-party software, creating a more consistent racing environment.

Similar power reductions and weight adjustments were applied to the Cadillac V-Series.R and Lamborghini SC63, promoting more balanced competition.

The Ferrari 499P received visual fixes for the dashboard number on joker cars, while the Peugeot 9×8 (Wingless) saw significant track-specific power and weight modifications.
