One of the greatest cars ever made has its very own mod version in Assetto Corsa. The Porsche 992 911 GT3 is sportscar heaven.
I will not hold back on this one, I am a big fan of Porsche and this 992 911 GT3 mod for Assetto Corsa is absolutely brilliant. The 911 family and the GT3 class are right up there with the best cars in the world.
This great creation from the mod community in Assetto Corsa has knocked this one right out of the park, it’s fantastic. I could go on for days about the real car, but you are here for the mod so let’s get to it.
Engine & Performance:
- Naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six: This high-revving beast pumps out 510 hp (375 kW) and 470 Nm of torque, pushing you to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds (3.7 seconds with the manual transmission) and a top speed of 197 mph (199 mph with manual).
- Sharp and responsive: Six individual throttle bodies ensure instant power delivery, while the high-revving nature (peaking at 9,000 rpm) rewards skillful gear changes.
- Two transmission options: Choose the lightning-fast 7-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic for ultimate track performance, or opt for the pure driving experience of the 6-speed manual transmission.
Aerodynamics & Handling:
- Aggressive aero package: The large, adjustable rear wing and intricate underbody channels generate serious downforce for enhanced grip and stability at high speeds.
- Precise and agile: The GT3’s suspension and steering are finely tuned for razor-sharp handling and incredible feedback, making it a joy to carve through corners.
