ACC Vlaanderen Sprint Cup Round 2

Round 2 of the ACC Vlaanderen sprint cup, was 75 minutes at Misano. I knew I had some good competition, with Knippels and Verstrepen in the race. They had an amazing pace!

I was driving with Bernadette (the Bentley) and had some solid pace. The qualifying was really close, I qualified 4th position. My start was very good and I could get P3 in the first two corners.

After that, I tried to drive at the same pace as Knippels and Verstrepen, but they were too fast! I could do a “dirty” strategy (that’s how we call it), only add a bit of fuel and no tire change.

Unfortunately, the track was 48 degrees, it was tough to keep up the good pace, and decided to change the tires and lose a bit more time in the pitstop. I ended up P3, very happy with the result, I pushed and give it all!!

Pro League Racing; World Tour Season 7

Season 7 of the Pro League Racing World Tour, started Monday 13-09-2021. The first round was 1 Hour at Imola.
I didn’t had time to practice, but Sophie and I won the 6 hour race at Imola last week.

My qualifying wasn’t very good, I qualified at P12. After a good start and some nice overtakes, I drove to P7 before the pitstop! My pitstop could have been better, but it was okay.

After the pitstop, I did one overtake on the outside and I ended up P6 overall! P5 in the pro class, very happy with my race pace and it was a lot better than I expected it will be.

ACC Sim Series

For the first time, Sophie Aeronwen and I drove a community race for the ACC Sim Series. It was 45 minutes at Misano.
I had a bad qualifying and started P2, Sophie took the pole position!!

I overtook her with the start. Her race pace was very good and the gap was around 1.5 seconds, even after the mandatory pitstop. Unfortunately, she drove a drive through because of the track limits, she showed some good pace and I’m proud of her!!

Sophie, keep up the hard work, the results are coming and it will pay off!! I finished at P1 and I’m very happy with the win, but to be honest I was more happy to see that Sophie hard work pays off!!
