A car that many in the motorsport world have been waiting for comes to Assetto Corsa as a mod, ladies and gentlemen its here, the 2023 Porsche 992 GT3 RS. As a massive fan of Porsche and its GT sports cars, this is as hardcore as it gets for a road car from Porsche. I mean look at it, it just needs some decals and a race number on it and you are good to go.
The instantly recognisable aero package on this car is a real stand out feature providing 409 kg of total downforce at 200 km/h and 860 kg at 285 km/h. That beautiful swan neck rear wing gets DRS fitted to it, a first for a production Porsche.
The engine, imo opinion is one of the greatest engines ever made, that 4.0 litre flat 6 is a symphony of power and perfection that revs up to a redline of 9,000 rpm. Packing 525 PS and 465Nm of torque, a top speed of 296 km/h you can see that this car is a serious piece of kit, 0-100 km/h is dispatched in 3.2 seconds and has a weight of 1,450 kg. I like the mantra that Porsche has with a lot of its cars, they are “Drivers” cars.
Back to the Assetto Corsa mod, users will be able to enjoy the vehicle in the game and take it to their favourite destination or race track with friends. if showing off a cool car is game is your thing, then this car is right up there.
