iRacing just got a whole lot smarter with the arrival of Adaptive AI in its Season 2 2025 update.
iRacing has just made racing more intuitive with their new Adaptive AI feature in Season 2. This update creates a more personalized racing experience that adjusts to your unique driving style.
A Simpler Challenge System
Instead of fiddling with complex difficulty settings or percentage sliders, you now have three straightforward options:
- Low challenge
- Medium challenge
- High challenge
The system handles everything else, creating AI opponents that respond to how you drive on the track.
Racing That Fits Your Skill
The main purpose of Adaptive AI is to give every players race that feel competitive and fun, regardless of their experience level.
If you’re new to sim racing or have competed for years, this AI feature will try match your abilities and skill. However, the developers acknowledge that elite-level racers might still be faster than what the AI can currently handle.
Evolving Through Player Feedback
Like most iRacing features, Adaptive AI will continue to improve as the development team plans to refine the system based on community feedback. What does that mean, well, your experience with the AI will likely get better as more racers try it and share their thoughts.
Starting in Single Race Mode
