BeamNG.drive Version 0.35 has arrived, and it’s packed with features that will delight simulation racing fans.
Version 0.35 of BeamNG.drive brings major updates that racing and simulation fans will love. This major update delivers the long-requested Hirochi Sunburst remaster, improved user interface elements, new missions, and an expanded set of modding tools.

Hirochi Sunburst Gets a Makeover
The developers have finally remastered the Hirochi Sunburst – something players have wanted for a long time!
The updated vehicle comes with:
- A Flat-4 drivetrain
- Many factory and custom options
- The long-requested wagon body style
The vehicle now has more detailed models and all-new textures. You’ll also find plenty of new ways to customize your ride, including body kits, interior options, and eye-catching liveries.
Faster Loading Times
The game now loads vehicles faster thanks to a new .cdae file format. This update:
- Uses cached data and compression
- Reduces vehicle loading times
- Decreases stuttering when changing parts
This work is still ongoing, but you’ll notice the improvements right away.
Map Improvements
The West Coast map continues to get better with:
- Updated drag strip and dirt track areas
- A brand new drift track
- Better collisions in the city area
- Improved drivability around race tracks
Hirochi Raceway now has a new drag strip area, and several maps have updated foliage.
More Drifting Features
Drift fans will enjoy:
- New Freeroam Drift Zones (four in Italy, two in Utah, one in Automation)
- A new Freeroam Drag Mode at Hirochi Raceway
- Drift Statistics in the Drift Challenge end screen
- Two new Drift UI apps showing total score and current drift information
The scoring system now has Tiers – the more points you earn, the higher your Tier. Multipliers have been rebalanced, crash detection is better, and combos now cap at 10x (soft cap) and 25x (hard cap).
Plus, there are two new missions: Strut Brace Loop and Garage Gauntlet.
Better User Interface
The UI team has created a new Radial Menu from scratch to replace the old one. This menu is designed for easy use, with full gamepad support and improved layouts.
