Creator’s Notes Explained Simply:
Besides the stuff you always see (like what gear you’re in, your speed, and the RPM light), the app has five main sections. You can switch between these sections by clicking with your mouse or by using your keyboard. Pressing Alt + A will change the section, and pressing Alt + S will show you different information within that section.
The first section is about timings. Here, you can see your current lap time, the time of your last lap, your best lap time, and your personal best lap time. Just like in RaceEssentials, the app checks if your lap is valid, and it saves your personal best lap times even after you finish a session.
The second section shows you deltas. This is a way to see if you’re faster or slower than your best lap or your personal best lap. It uses some smart calculations to do this. It also shows you simpler information about how far ahead or behind you are from the car in front or behind you, and how much faster or slower you’re going. There’s also an indicator that tells you if you’re currently gaining or losing time compared to your best laps.
The third section is straightforward. It shows you your lap number and your current position in the race. If you’re in a session with a time limit, it also shows you how much time is left.
The fourth section is all about fuel. It tells you how much fuel you currently have. After you finish a lap, it will show you how much fuel you used on that lap and how many more laps you can do with the fuel you have left. If you’re in a race with a set number of laps, it will also tell you how much fuel you need to finish the race. If you don’t have enough, it will tell you how much more you need to add.
The fifth section focuses on your tyres. You can choose to see how worn they are, how hot they are, and what their pressure is. It also shows you the ideal temperature and pressure for the type of tyres you’re using. The app knows the best temperatures and pressures for all the cars in Assetto Corsa and will show them with different colors to help you.
Besides these five sections, there are also important messages called “Dominant events“. When these happen, the other sections will disappear temporarily so you can really focus on the message. Right now, these important messages include: when your force feedback (FFB) is too strong for a long time, when the game detects your steering wheel direction at the start of a race, when you set a new best lap time, when you set a new personal best lap time, and when the session is about to end.
