The CMS Fall GT3 Championship Series continues with its fifth round at the iconic Autodromo Nazionale Monza.
The CMS Fall GT3 Championship Series moves to Autodromo Nazionale Monza for the fifth round of the 2024 season. Scheduled for October 16th, 2024, this event will feature a packed lineup, with free practice starting at 8:30 PM (Eastern Time), followed by a 10-minute private qualifying session at 9:20 PM, and the race kicking off at 9:30 PM.
The race format will be a 60-minute rolling start, with realistic weather conditions expected and a dry track state. Drivers will have access to one fast repair, and setups will remain open for participants.
Key details include a 50-minute practice session and a maximum fuel limit of 75%, adding a strategic element to fuel management during the race. Incidents will be monitored closely, particularly in the first lap’s Orange Zone (Turn 7), where any contact will be reviewed after the race. Drivers should be mindful of the drive-through penalty every 17 incident points (DT every 17x).
With Monza’s fast straights and tight corners, this race will challenge the skill and focus of every driver. Participation requires signups per the supplemental rules, and competitors must adhere to all guidelines to ensure fair play.
