November marks the launch of the 2024 Gran Turismo World Series Nations Cup: Exhibition 2, with race schedules, points, and rewards on display.
The 2024 Gran Turismo World Series Nations Cup: Exhibition 2, running from November 2nd to November 23rd, will feature a competitive four-round structure designed for drivers across the GT1, GT2, and GT3 leagues. Each round incorporates both a Qualifying and a Final race, allowing players to showcase their skills in this premier PlayStation racing game.
Race Schedules and Entry Slots
In the GT1 league, races are scheduled in three slots—13:00, 15:00, and 17:00 GMT—allowing flexibility in participation. For GT2 and GT3 leagues, additional entry times are available with ten slots between 7:00 and 19:00 GMT. Competitors may join races 15 minutes before the start time, marked by a “Now Accepting Entries” message, ensuring timely entries for each round.
Effective Points and Scoring System
The points system awards based on effective scores, with each player’s final ranking derived from their two best scores over the four rounds. This system motivates participants to perform consistently, as only the best results influence the final score. Tie-breakers include criteria such as highest points in individual rounds and overall Driver and Sportsmanship Ratings, with play start date acting as the final determinant if ties persist.
Point Ranking Rewards and Credits
Significant in-game credit rewards await top-ranking players within each league, structured across Regional, Domestic, and Local tiers. GT1 players can earn up to 3,000,000 Credits for a Top 5% Regional ranking, while GT2 and GT3 players can win up to 1,500,000 Credits in the same bracket. Distribution tiers for Gold (Top 5%), Silver (Top 25%), and Bronze (Top 75%) reward those who finish within these defined rankings, with Credits collected through the ‘Sport’ mode.
Gran Turismo 7 Features
Players can also enjoy features like car customization, enhancing their experience as a realistic driving simulator. With a diverse vehicle roster and engaging driving physics, participants can refine their skills. The game also supports online multiplayer racing, creating opportunities for competitors to join racing leagues.
Additional elements like a track editor and options for tuning and upgrades further enrich the gameplay experience. Players can engage in career mode and participate in time trials to hone their driving skills, continuing the legacy of the Gran Turismo franchise.
