Many Assetto Corsa track mods are available, I highly recommend this mod of Longford 1967 for its nostalgic endurance vibes. Grab it today and enjoy.

The Longford 1967 track mod is a great addition to your Assetto Corsa collection. For many, this fantastic circuit brings a feeling similar to the famous Le Mans race, perfect for long endurance races and more. Just like Le Mans, don’t let the long straightaways trick you into thinking this is an easy track.

Longford will keep you focused and alert throughout the race. Since it’s based on public roads, some parts of the track are very narrow, requiring careful navigation.

Also, getting your car’s setup just right is very important. The long straights will cool down your brakes while you reach top speeds. Then, when you need to brake hard, you might find they don’t have as much stopping power as you expect.

I highly recommend trying the Longford 1967 mod. You’re likely to have some excellent and enjoyable races.

Nostalgic History

The first race event at Longford was in 1953. The Australian Grand Prix took place there in 1959 and 1965. Additionally, the track hosted a round of the Tasman Series every year from 1964 to 1968.

Longford was also the location for the single-race 1962 Australian Touring Car Championship. At 7.242 km (4.501 mi), it’s the longest circuit ever used in the ATCC. The Australian Tourist Trophy was held there in 1960, 1964, and 1966. Furthermore, a round of the Australian Drivers’ Championship took place at Longford each year from 1958 to 1965.

Unfortunately, financial problems led to the end of its use as a motor racing venue after the 1968 Tasman Series event.
