Forza Motorsport Update 19 Sound Improvements, Track Adjustments, and More

Big news for Forza Motorsport players! Update 19 has just been released with some exciting improvements.

Forza Motorsport has a new update! Update 19 is now available for players on Xbox Series X|S and PC. You can get it through the Microsoft Store and Steam.

New cars to check out and in-game events will start on Wednesday, April 9 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time.

Better Car Sounds

Developers Turn 10 listened to what players said. Because of this feedback, they’ve improved the sound of three popular cars:

These changes are meant to make the car sounds more accurate and better for players who noticed issues.

Changes to the Track Surface

This update also changes how the track gets covered in rubber during races in Career mode and the Featured Multiplayer mode.

  • When you start a practice session, the track will now have 20% rubber on it (it used to be 33%).
  • When a race starts, the track will now have 75% rubber on it (it used to be 66%).

This adjustment should make practice and race sessions feel more balanced and like real racing.

Updates to Featured Multiplayer – Forza GT3 Series

Three cars have been taken off the list of cars you can use in the Forza GT3 Series in Featured Multiplayer:

  • 2018 Lamborghini #63 Squadra Corse Huracán Super Trofeo Evo
  • 2015 Lamborghini #63 Squadra Corse Huracán LP620-2 Super Trofeo
  • 2017 Ferrari #25 Corse Clienti 488 Challenge

These cars will be back later in their own special series. This is similar to how these cars are used in actual racing events.

In Summary

This update mainly focuses on fixing sound issues, making the track feel more real, and balancing the multiplayer mode. Overall, this should make the racing experience smoother. The developers plan to keep making changes based on what the community says, so Forza Motorsport will continue to get better for all types of players.
