What happens if you like designing Assetto Corsa Car mods and take some of the greatest cars and combine them, the result is the Fullmetal JDM Voltron.
The world of Assetto Corsa car mods is known for its creativity, but a recent release has truly turned heads: the Fullmetal JDM Voltron by VOSAN. This virtual vehicle isn’t just another faithful recreation; it’s an ambitious blend of some of the most celebrated Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) automobiles ever made.
Imagine a car that takes the fundamental structure of the legendary RX7 from Kunos and then grafts on the distinctive front lights of the Nissan S15, borrowed from Gran Turismo 7. Add to this the aggressive rear wing of a Mitsubishi Evo 8, as seen in titles by Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games, and the sleek side mirrors of an NSX (source unknown).
But the fusion doesn’t stop there. The rear design is a custom creation by Fullmetal, as is the vented hood (bonnet) inspired by the WRX. The iconic front bumper of an A80 Supra, also designed by Fullmetal, completes the front end, while custom wheel arches (fenders) add a unique flair.
Rolling on striking Veilside rims (source unknown), and powered by performance data expertly crafted by Dakuside, the Fullmetal JDM Voltron is a true Frankenstein’s monster of the automotive world.
While this bold combination might not sit well with every car purist who prefers factory-original designs, it undeniably represents the exciting possibilities within gaming. It’s a testament to the skill and imagination of modders who can take digital assets and combine them in unexpected and visually striking ways.
