
The latest SnowRunner update, Season 15 Oil & Dirt, transports players to the stunning landscapes of Quebec, Canada for a brand new set of challenges.
The newest season of SnowRunner, called “Oil & Dirt,” has arrived! It’s time to explore the beautiful but rugged landscapes of Quebec, Canada in season 15. This is the fourth time the game has visited this part of the world, bringing even more exciting challenges and stories for you to discover.
Let’s take a closer look at what’s new in this update.
Discover Two Fresh Maps
The Harbor: Travel to the coast and see a huge oil drilling platform standing tall. You’ll also find a shipyard, small coastal towns, and a classic lighthouse. This map mixes industrial areas with lovely ocean views.
Lac Ribière: Head inland to a lively town getting ready for its famous fish festival. This map is interesting, with construction sites and tight city streets where you can really test your skills.
Two New Vehicles Join Your Garage
Sleiter ST816 “Elephant”: This powerful, six-wheeled truck is a real workhorse. It’s built to easily haul the biggest and heaviest semi-trailers.
Mercer K520: This smaller truck is still very capable. It’s perfect for rescue missions and exploring. It’s quick, dependable, and ready for anything you throw at it.
New Missions Full of Challenges
This season has lots of new things to do:
- Build a fully working oil platform.
- Organize a fun fish festival in the town.
- Construct a brand-new highway.
- Set up a lodge for climbers high in the mountains.
Each of these tasks will give you new challenges and great rewards.
Free Stuff to Make Your Trucks Your Own
As a special bonus, all players will get 10 new stickers to customize their vehicles. It’s a simple way to make your trucks look even more unique.
New Add-ons and Trailers
Season 15 also includes new equipment to help you out:
- SLEI-64 Loading Crane
- Maintenance Frame Add-on for Mercer
- Mercer Sideboard Bed
- Fishing Trailer
- Oil Platform Anchor
- Short Flatbed Semi-Trailer (with Parts)
- Flatbed Semi-Trailer (with Parts)
These new additions will make your trucks even more useful on all kinds of terrain.
Important Updates and Fixes
Vehicle Fixes:
- A problem where short and medium logs wouldn’t automatically load on the Aramatsu Forester add-on has been fixed.
- When you repaint the KOLOB 74760, the front grille will now correctly go back to black.
- We’ve fixed an issue where the wheels of the Kenworth C500 would clip through the body when the suspension was damaged.
- The mudguards on the Mack Pinnacle will now reappear correctly after you remove an add-on.
- Visual problems with the roof of the TUZ 16 “Actaeon” when you were inside the cab have been fixed.
- Problems installing trailers after taking off the ‘Heavy Trailer Hitch’ are now resolved.
- Short and long logs will now load correctly with the right add-ons.
User Interface Fixes:
- The colour selector for trucks with two-colour paint jobs now works as it should.
- An extra mouse cursor in the colour settings has been removed.
- Bugs that caused problems when picking colour slots for three-color paint jobs have been fixed.
- The ‘DualSense’ controller is now displayed correctly in the settings.
- The ‘Sell’ button now shows up in the Xbox garage.
- Issues with button mapping in the customization menu have been resolved.
Mod Browser Fixes:
- Mods will no longer turn off when you update the mods page on the Switch.
- A bug that prevented you from re-enabling mods you had used before has been fixed.
Co-op Fixes:
- Problems with players disconnecting from sessions have been fixed, and connection handling has been improved.
- Bugs that caused trailers and trucks to appear in the wrong locations on maps have been resolved.
- Tracking contracts when players are on different maps has been improved.
- You can now correctly see blocked users in the crossplay blocklist.
- The crossplay code will now update properly when you join sessions.
Additional Improvements:
- Missing sound effects and loud noises when changing levels or finishing co-op sessions have been fixed.
- Problems with cargo appearing in the wrong place or floating after a restart have been resolved.
- You will now see the correct prompts when picking a map on PlayStation.
- Various other visual improvements, crash fixes, and localization updates have been made.
