The 2024 iRacing Nurburgring Endurance Championship marks the start of its seventh season with a nine-race series on the Combined Gesamtstrecke VLN course.
The iRacing Nurburgring Endurance Championship returns for its seventh season in 2024, featuring a nine-race series extending through the end of October. This year’s competition will be held on the Combined Gesamtstrecke VLN course, known for its challenging layout that merges the Nürburgring GP circuit with the Nordschleife. The season opener offers four timeslots: Saturday, August 31st at 7:00 GMT and 17:30 GMT, as well as Sunday, September 1st at 1:00 GMT and 13:00 GMT.
Participants in the championship can compete across five distinct classes. The GT3 class includes options like the Audi R8 LMS EVO II, BMW M4, Ferrari 296, Mercedes-AMG, and Porsche 911 GT3 R (992). The GT4 class features the Aston Martin Vantage, BMW M4, and Porsche 718 Cayman. The TCR category offers the Honda Civic Type R TCR and Hyundai Elantra TCR. Additionally, the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) and Toyota GR86 will each run in their own single-car classes.
The 2024 season is expected to maintain the Nurburgring Endurance Championship’s reputation for competitive racing across diverse car classes on one of the world’s most challenging circuits. Each race will demand precision and endurance from participants, making this championship a key event in the iRacing calendar.
