Built around a 365hp Club Sport engine, the M2 CSR will be available as free content, adding variety to the rookie racing experience. Alongside it, an iRacing/BMW M2 safety car is also planned, enhancing AI and Hosted mode offerings.
Acura NSX GT3 Evo 22
With a powerful twin-turbo 520 HP engine, the Acura NSX GT3 Evo 22 will join iRacing’s GT3 lineup for the endurance series. Created in collaboration with HRC, Gradient Racing, and Racers Edge Motorsports, this car will stand out not only for its performance but for the high level of visual fidelity expected in its design.

The Ferrari 499P, expected to join iRacing’s Prototype Challenge Series, has been developed in close partnership with Ferrari’s own team. This addition, combined with other top prototypes, will expand iRacing’s endurance racing options in Season 1, introducing a richer variety to the game’s competitive modes.
New Tracks and Updates
Thruxton Circuit
Known as the “Fastest Circuit in the UK,” the Thruxton Circuit is set to arrive in iRacing with its signature high-speed design, joining the expanding UK track roster. Built using photogrammetry for high detail, this circuit is expected to bring a new level of realism, with an infield airstrip and expansive landscapes that add to its immersive feel.
Huset’s Speedway
The dirt oval Huset’s Speedway will soon join iRacing’s lineup of short-track ovals, bringing a classic dirt racing experience to players. Scheduled for a future DLC in World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing 24, Huset’s Speedway is anticipated to become a favourite for fans of dirt track racing.
New Hampshire and Las Vegas Motor Speedway Refreshes
As part of iRacing’s “NASCAR Refresh” project, New Hampshire Motor Speedway will receive a comprehensive update. These improvements mark the beginning of a larger project to modernize classic NASCAR tracks across the platform. The Las Vegas Motor Speedway refresh will follow, with plans to release as soon as development is finalized.
Anticipated New Features
Debris Refresh
The Dynamic Track Dynamics (DTD) system will be enhanced to track debris, introducing a level of environmental realism previously unseen in iRacing. Elements like gravel and mud will affect the racing surface, creating conditions that mimic real-life race scenarios. This debris modelling sets a foundation for potential future updates, such as tire puncture features.
AI and Tire Model Enhancements
To bring more life to AI behaviours, Season 1 will introduce features such as headlight flashing for AI drivers in multiclass scenarios. Alongside this, an updated tire model will improve responsiveness, grip degradation, and compound composition for the GTP and LMP2 classes, enhancing the tactile realism in driving.
Graphics Engine Upgrades and Series Redesign
Players can also look forward to updates to the graphics engine, with refined lighting and improved reflections that enhance visual clarity. Additionally, a redesigned series page layout will simplify navigation, providing permanent links and improving the user experience.
Bump Start Feature
The GTP fleet will soon feature bump starts, bringing another layer of realism to this class. This physically accurate addition to the platform demonstrates iRacing’s commitment to true-to-life racing mechanics.
