A new update is coming for F1 25, bringing with it several changes and fixes to improve your racing experience.
Today marks a notable day for F1 25 players as Patch v1.07 begins its rollout at 10 AM UTC. Racers need an internet connection to receive this vital update. This patch also sets the stage for F1 25 Season 2, launching on July 23rd, that brings fresh content.
Key Updates and Improvements:
This patch focuses on refining the game across various areas, from career mode progression to multiplayer stability and overall performance.
Career Mode Changes:
Slower Team Growth: The cost of research and development (R&D) upgrades for both your team and the AI has gone up. This change aims to slow down how quickly teams become fully upgraded in Career modes.
Dynamic Regulation Shifts: New rules in Career modes will now have a broader impact. They can also appear later in the season, making it more challenging for teams to adapt completely before the next season begins. These adjustments address player feedback about how rapidly stats were reaching their maximum in Career modes, working to extend the enjoyment of long-term play. These changes apply to both existing and new Career saves.
Reduced Resource Rates: If you set resource and cash rates to “Reduced” in Career settings, these rates will now be even lower for both players and AI.
My Team Upgrade Fix: A problem where upgrades were not correctly linked to the Level 4 Breakthrough Facility Upgrade in My Team Career has been resolved.
Mail System Fixes: Several minor issues related to in-game mail in My Team Career mode have been fixed.
Two-Player Career: You can now start a Two Player Career without needing to enable Icon Drivers. Also, a bug that prevented custom car setups from being available in Two Player Career right after playing Ranked Multiplayer has been corrected.

New Content:
Season 2 Additions: The patch introduces new content for Season 2, including new items for the Podium Pass and the in-game Shop.
Season 2 Events: Look forward to new events for Season 2, such as a special event featuring Lewis Hamilton in China.
Elimination Mode Returns: The fast-paced Elimination Mode is back for a limited time, offering quicker races and new rewards.
Achievements and Trophies:
Bug Fixes: Rare issues preventing the “Lucrative Alliance” and “One for the Team” achievements or trophies from unlocking correctly have been fixed. Please note, these fixes are not retroactive; you will need to meet the achievement requirements again to unlock them.
Track and Graphics Improvements:
Belgium Updates: Some tire walls at the Belgium track have been fixed.
Minor Visual Enhancements: Small graphical improvements have been made at the Abu Dhabi, Azerbaijan, and Belgium tracks.
Time of Day Updates: The time of day for various sessions at the Bahrain and Qatar circuits has been updated.
Flickering Car Fix: A small amount of flickering on the car in various customization screens has been resolved.
Konnersport Car: A minor graphical issue on the wheel cover of the 2025 Konnersport car has been fixed.
F1 The Movie: A graphical issue in the pitlane during Chapter 6 of F1 The Movie has been corrected.

Multiplayer Enhancements:
Starting Lights Visibility: A bug that caused the starting countdown lights to disappear after pausing and viewing the Race Director at the start of a Multiplayer Race has been fixed.
Lobby UI Fix: An issue where the Player Hub user interface (UI) would go missing after a player edited their Trophy Cabinet in Multiplayer Lobbies has been corrected.
Points Display: If a player gets a DNF (Did Not Finish) in a multiplayer race but still finishes in a points position, those points will now correctly appear on their Results screen.
Driver of the Day Label: A problem where the Driver of the Day could not see their own Expression Label on the post-race screen in League races has been fixed.
Invitational Lobby Filter: The “Hide games beyond my license level” option in the Invitationals lobby selection screen is now working properly.

Peripheral and PC Specifics:
Logitech G923 Performance: The game’s performance on Xbox Series X has been improved when using the Logitech G923 wheel.
HDR10+ Support: PC players with NVIDIA graphics cards and compatible displays now have support for HDR10+.
Intel XeFG: The Intel XeFG implementation has been updated to correctly pause frame generation when you are in menus.
Alt+F4 Fix: A problem on PC where the keyboard shortcut Alt+F4 did not work consistently across all areas of the game has been resolved.
Anti-Aliasing Fix: An issue on PC where certain Anti-Aliasing settings could cause flickering in the background of various Team HQ locations in My Team Career has been fixed.
DLSS-FG Visuals: A minor issue on PC related to changing the Frame Generation option with DLSS-FG Enabled, which sometimes caused visual problems, has been corrected.
Split-screen Fixes:
Overtake Button Icon: A bug in Splitscreen that made the Overtake button icon the same for players using different input methods has been fixed.
UI Prompts: An issue in Splitscreen where UI prompts to continue were sometimes missing on the Results screen has been resolved.

Other General Improvements:
Retired Cars: A problem where retired cars could remain on track after a red flag restart has been fixed.
AI Tyre Recognition: The AI’s ability to identify the correct tire to use when a race restarts after a red flag has been improved.
