Get ready to jump into the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season with the latest update for NASCAR 21: Ignition! Released on October 6th, this update puts you right in the middle of the exciting 2022 season with all the real drivers, teams, and cars.
The 2022 season was a big deal because of new rules, updated cars, and really close racing. Now, you can experience it all in the game. You’ll race on the same tracks and face the same challenges the real drivers did. The game now has the complete list of 2022 drivers, making the game feel even more real for NASCAR fans.
Motorsport Games Inc., a leading company that makes racing games and runs esports events for official racing series, announced this update for NASCAR 21: Ignition. This update changes the “Race Now,” “Online Multiplayer,” and “Paint Booth” parts of the game.
The 2022 Season Update was available to download for free starting October 6, 2022, for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Series S and X, and PC through Steam. If you already own Ignition (either the Standard or Champions Edition), you can download the update at no cost.
If you don’t have Ignition yet, you can buy it at a lower price ($19.99 USD) and then get the free update. You can also still buy NASCAR 21: Ignition – Victory Edition, which includes the 2021 DLC content, the 2022 Season Update, and more upcoming content for 2022.
The Ignition 2022 Season Update has several fresh improvements. The menus and settings are now easier to use. The display during races has been improved with new ways to see how worn your tires are and how much fuel you have left.
You’ll also hear new introductions from Alex Hayden, an announcer from the Motor Racing Network. The game now includes all the NASCAR Cup Series racetracks from both the regular season and the playoffs. The game features the actual drivers, teams, and car designs from the 2022 season, giving you the most current version of the sport.
This update also adds all three “Next Gen” car models from Chevrolet, Ford, and Toyota, which you can drive on every NASCAR track.
Jay Pennell, Brand Manager for NASCAR at Motorsport Games, said that the 2022 NASCAR season was very important because of the new Next Gen cars and exciting new drivers. He added that it was important for them to put that into the game for fans.
He also mentioned that they know some players might be disappointed that there isn’t a completely new game this year. However, they want to make sure they don’t repeat past mistakes. This season update is a step towards their next official NASCAR game, which they are already working hard on.
This new game will include many of the things that fans have asked for. He believes the 2022 Season Update accurately shows the current NASCAR scene, and they are looking forward to making the game even better in the future.
To make sure as many people as possible can experience the 2022 NASCAR Season, Motorsport Games is also adding the 2022 content to NASCAR Heat 5 and NASCAR Heat Mobile. With these updates, the 2022 NASCAR season will be available across all of Motorsport Games’ NASCAR products.
In NASCAR Heat 5, players will be able to buy downloadable content that includes the 2022 cars, drivers, and teams for the “Race Now” and “Online Multiplayer” modes. NASCAR Heat Mobile will also update with the 2022 cars, drivers, and teams as content that can be selected and purchased.
