If you’re a fan of racing games and enjoy a mix of fast, open sections and detailed corners, then the Magny Cours track is one you should really consider. This track is available as a mod for the game Assetto Corsa, and it offers a very exciting driving experience.
Located in the middle of France, the Magny Cours circuit was first built in 1960. It’s famous for hosting Formula 1 races for many years, from 1991 to 2008.
The main track, called the Grand Prix Circuit, is 4.411 kilometers (or 2.741 miles) long and has a challenging layout with 17 different turns. The fastest lap ever recorded on this track during a race is an amazing 1 minute and 15.377 seconds. This record was set by the famous driver Michael Schumacher in a Ferrari car back in 2004, which makes this track even more special.
Besides the Grand Prix Circuit, there’s also a shorter track called the National Circuit. It’s 2.684 kilometers (or 1.668 miles) long and has 12 turns, offering a slightly different but still fun racing experience. There’s also an even shorter option, the Club Circuit, which is 1.727 kilometers (or 1.073 miles) long with 11 turns. This track is perfect for those who want a quick but action-packed race.
