The famous Daytona 500 is ready to come to life in the digital world of iRacing, are you ready to rumble?
NASCAR racing fans and sim racing virtual racers are getting ready to experience the magic of the Daytona 500 from their computers through iRacing. This digital version of “The Great American Race” kicks off the NASCAR iRacing Series schedule.

Featuring the Toyota Camry, Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro, we are bound to witness are pure classic. Will iRacing pull in more great crowds and attendances like it has so far in 2025?

The NASCAR iRacing Series follows the same path as the real-world NASCAR Cup Series. Over the year, drivers take part in 36 different races. For this special virtual event running from February 12-17, 2025, sim racers will use digital versions of NASCAR Cup Series cars to battle for the win.

These virtual cars are based on the real-world vehicles that runs on a powerful V8 engine that doesn’t use turbochargers or superchargers. At 358 cubic inches (or 5.86 litres), these engines are built for pure racing performance. The transmission gives drivers five forward gears plus reverse, helping them control their speed with precision.
Size and Weight
These race cars have a wheelbase (the distance between front and back wheels) of 110 inches. Empty (without driver and fuel), the car must weigh at least 3,200 pounds.
