The iRacing CMS Fall GT3 Championship Series continues this Wednesday, September 25, 2024, with the next race at the virtual Barber Motorsports Park – Full Course. This event is a key part of the series, attracting drivers eager to compete on iRacing’s dynamic platform. The event schedule is tight, with all times listed in US Eastern Time:
- 8:30 PM: Free Practice (50 minutes)
- 9:20 PM: Qualifying (Private, 10 minutes)
- 9:30 PM: Race (Rolling start, 60 minutes)
The competition will feature open setups, and a realistic weather system will add to the challenge, with the track expected to remain dry. Teams and drivers need to manage fuel strategy, with a 75% fuel limit for all GT3 cars, and a single fast repair available. Incidents will be closely monitored, with a drive-through penalty triggered at 17x incidents.
A special focus will be on the Orange Zone (OZ) at Turn 6. First-lap incidents in this zone will be reviewed after the race, and drivers can file Incident Review Requests (IRRs) for questionable contact.
