iRacing and Original Fire Games have revealed plans to collaborate on a new casual racing game, tentatively titled “iRacing Arcade.” Set for release in 2025 on PC and consoles, the game aims to capture the broader casual racing market.
The project will leverage the infrastructure of Original Fire Games’ “Circuit Superstars” to create an enhanced driving experience. iRacing will serve as the publisher, marking its entry into the casual racing segment.
Development responsibilities will primarily fall to Original Fire Games, with iRacing providing technological support and industry expertise. The game will feature a Career Mode and various racing options, catering to players of all ages.
This partnership does not include the acquisition of Original Fire Games’ existing products, including “Circuit Superstars.”
iRacing Arcade” joins iRacing’s expanding publishing portfolio, which includes:
- The core iRacing PC simulation
- World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing franchise
- An upcoming NASCAR game (2025 release)
- ExoCross, a futuristic off-road racing game (July 2024 release)
Both companies express optimism about the collaboration, viewing it as an opportunity to create a high-quality casual racing experience that could nurture future sim racing enthusiasts.
