The iRacing 2023 Season 4 patch 3 update is out now and brings new features and enhancements to the premier sim racing title.
Introducing the latest patch for iRacing 2023 Season 4! The standout feature is the newly added Cart and Wallet functionality, designed to greatly enhance the user experience. This update brings a host of quality-of-life improvements, simplifying content purchases, crash reporting, and more. Here’s what’s new:
Cart: Say hello to the brand-new shopping Cart! You can now conveniently add Cars and Tracks to your Cart from anywhere in iRacing featuring a Cart button. Access your Cart from the top right of the header and effortlessly complete your purchase using iRacing Credits, iRacing Dollars, your Credit Card on file, a new Credit Card, or Venmo. (Please note that users opting for PayPal will currently need to check out through the iRacing Membersite.)
Wallet: The Recharge button button has been replaced with a convenient Add Funds button. This feature integrates seamlessly with the Cart, enabling you to add iRacing Dollars directly within the iRacing platform. Additionally introduced is the Send Gift buttons and Promo Codes & Gift Cards sections, allowing you to send iRacing Dollars to other users, verify promo and gift card codes, and redeem them hassle-free.
Spectate Sessions: With the new Spectate Sessions button under Go Racing, watching other racers has never been easier. You can now access organized sessions via the Official, Hosted, and League tabs, complete with advanced search, sort, filter, and favorite functionalities, similar to those found elsewhere in Go Racing.
Downloader: The downloader has been revamped for improved accessibility. It now appears as a dropdown menu, with the default selection being the new “Select Owned” feature. This selection includes all required updates, along with updates for the content you own, streamlining the download process for a smoother experience.
