The CMS GT World Championship in iRacing is heading to the iconic Portland International Raceway for some intense racing on the full circuit. Wednesday, May 7th, 2025, is the day you won’t want to miss. All times are in US Eastern time, so be sure to adjust your clocks!
Race Day Schedule
The day kicks off with a 50-minute free practice session at 8:30 PM. This is a crucial time for teams and drivers to dial in their setups and get a feel for the track. Following practice, the qualifying session begins at 9:20 PM. This will be a private, 10-minute session where drivers will push their cars to the limit to secure the best possible starting positions for the main event.
The race itself is scheduled for 9:30 PM. It will feature a rolling start and will run for a full 60 minutes, promising plenty of exciting battles and strategic decisions.
Key Race Details
- Setups: Teams have the freedom to choose their own setups for this race.
- Fast Repair: Yes, teams will have one fast repair available during the race.
- Weather: The weather conditions will be realistic, and the track is expected to be dry.
- DT Every: There will be a mandatory pit stop (Drive-Through) required every 17 laps.
- Max Fuel: The maximum fuel capacity allowed for the race is 70%.
