Champion Motorsports is ready to deliver with the 2025 iRTES season starting November 3rd with an expanded lineup of tracks, classes, and prizes.
Starting November 3rd 2024, Champion Motorsports launches the 2025 iRacing Team Endurance Series (iRTES) and celebrates its fifth season as one of the most immersive endurance leagues in sim racing. As longtime fans and supporters here at Simrace247, we’re excited to share this exclusive preview of what’s in store for iRTES 2025.

New Tracks and a Fresh Schedule
The 2025 season introduces four new tracks, while fan favourites Road America and Le Mans are back in the rotation. This year, iRTES breaks tradition by starting the season at Road America rather than Daytona, adding an extra layer of excitement to the opening round. Just take a look at that line up of tracks that include Portimao, Donington, Suzuka and the Nurburgring GP Layout. To explore past race results and stats, check out the iRTES archive on Sim Racer Hub.

Expanded Car Classes and Teams
For 2025, iRTES will feature three main classes: LMDh, LMP2, and GT3. Pro teams will take on the high-powered LMDh category, while LMP2 is reserved for Amateur prototype teams. In GT3, nearly 30 cars are expected to compete, divided between Pro and Am categories. This season also introduces a total of 14 unique car models, the highest variety yet for iRTES.
Sponsors and Prizes
Returning for a fifth year as title sponsor, Penguin r/c Simulation continues to support iRTES with a fantastic prize package. New for 2025, MasterWerks Agency joins as a co-sponsor, contributing to broadcast costs and offering three high-quality 1:18 scale diecast cars as awards for select drivers. Champion Motorsports will also provide an impressive $1,500 prize pool featuring trophies, endurance medals, and the celebrated Monster Gold Cup Trophy for drivers aged 50+.

Broadcast Coverage
All six races will be broadcast by Apex Simracing TV, airing live on both Champion Motorsports and APEX YouTube channels. This marks the fourth season that Apex Simracing TV has partnered with iRTES, delivering around 20 hours of endurance racing action to sim racing fans worldwide.

Enhanced Weather and Strategy Elements
For this upcoming season, iRTES will be incorporating the Tempest weather system, with a mix of dry and wet conditions that will add new layers of strategy. Fuel and tire limitations return, making pit management and team coordination critical for success.

Additional Prize Partnerships
Champion Motorsports is also teaming up with XBOX Game Pass Ultimate, offering three 13-month subscriptions as part of the prize pool. Each prize adds to the robust rewards awaiting this season’s top-performing teams and drivers.

Returning Porsche Cup Support Series
In parallel with iRTES, the Porsche Cup Support Series returns for its fifth season. Each Porsche Cup race will be held on the same day as iRTES events, enhancing field sizes and setting a competitive tone for the day’s races. Stamm Broadcasting, a new CMS partner, will cover all six Porsche Cup races live.

We wish all of those over at Champion Motorsports and its sponsors an eventful and exciting season ahead, I (Darren) would like to give a personal shoutout to David Anderson, Ross Smith, Matthew Overton and Warren McGary who have been exceptional members in the organisation of community and events over at CMS…race hard and have fun.
