Genesis Unveils X Gran Racer Vision GT Concept for Gran Turismo 7

Genesis has introduced its latest virtual concept car, the X Gran Racer Vision Gran Turismo Concept, to Gran Turismo 7 with Update 1.49. This racing-focused model evolves from the X Gran Berlinetta Vision Gran Turismo Concept, which debuted in December 2023 as Genesis' first Vision Gran Turismo (VGT) offering. The X Gran Racer made its physical debut as a full-scale model at the Busan International Mobility Show in June 2024, showcasing Genesis' most aggressive interpretation of its "athletic elegance" design philosophy to date. Aerodynamics play a crucial role in the X Gran Racer's design. The concept features a prominent wing, active aerodynamic elements, a flat floor, front and rear diffusers, canards, and gurney flaps. These components work in tandem to generate significant downforce, enhancing the vehicle's racing capabilities. Powering the X Gran Racer is a front mid-mounted Lambda II V6 engine, carried over from the Berlinetta concept. This combustion engine is supplemented by Genesis' E-SC (Electric Supercharger) technology and a more potent electric motor. The result is a combined output of 1,540 horsepower (1,561 PS), representing an increase of nearly 500 horsepower over its predecessor. The X Gran Racer Vision Gran Turismo Concept is now available for players to experience in Gran Turismo 7, offering a virtual taste of Genesis' high-performance future.
