Scuderia Ferrari Esports Team has clinched its second “F1 eSports” constructors’ championship, ending a three-year drought in this premier gaming competition launched in 2017. The F1 eSports series allows all Formula 1 teams to compete with drivers racing on an equal digital platform.
Ferrari’s success came from excellent performances by sim racers Bari Broumand and Nicolas Longuet. Their combined efforts won Ferrari the constructors’ crown. This virtual championship provides hope for Ferrari, which hasn’t won a real-life drivers’ or constructors’ title since 2007 and 2008 respectively.
