F1 Manager 22 receives backlash from users afters issues raised were not addressed to be fixed.
F1 Manager 22 publicly addresses concerns that users are not happy, we know with many racing titles, the community will always have a say in what they would like to see. Now this is great, but not always in the plan and ethos of the games developer and publishers. Recently, F1 Manager 22 publicly announced that it would not be addressing some of the issues that players had raised. Chad Young, Senior Director of Publishing reiterated that they would still support the game and further beyond the next update.
Here are some of the comments made in response to the above statement. For privacy, we have not added the users gamertag.
“I’ve already figured out how to absolutely dominate in the game (not like it was difficult) and have gotten quite bored with it – and it’s basic janky mediocrity. If next year’s game isn’t a big upgrade, I doubt I’ll bother”.
“Will look after 1 month, hope more realistic, not allways same. i overtake and then 2-3 round later he overtakes back than i overtake and so on… thats the complete race. boring not realistic”.
” I shouldnt have bought this game”.
“This is still only damage control. Too much talk, and too little updates and fixes. Good morning Frontier! The game is out since 2 months, and it is still broken, it is still in beta phase, for full price. More updates, and less talk! (Please) Not to mention, if we stay silent, SC and unlap would be fixed only in 2023. That was your plan..I am proud of the players standing out for ourselves!
“Good show Frontier that you agreed to resolve these bugs, as you should. If the game becomes decently updated I have no problem with buying the 2023 version of it providing that you keep the support up for 2022. I think we all understand that new features (such as creating your own team, or driver academy) will be in the 2023. However, that doesn’t mean that you can neglect the 2022 game. Do good things for the community and the community will do good things for you likewise”.
