The F1 25 team (Codemasters) listened to players and rolled out a big update to make the game even better. Patch v1.11 arrives at 10 a.m. UTC on Monday, August 18. Make sure your PC or console is online to grab it. This update fixes issues, adds new content, and improves gameplay. Plus, there’s news about an upcoming tweak to the computer-controlled drivers (AI).

What’s New in Patch v1.11

Key Fixes

First, the update solves a problem at Monaco where the two-pitstop rule wasn’t working right. Now, the game enforces it correctly. Also, Time Trial mode has stricter track limit rules. This reduces cases where small mistakes went unpunished, making races fairer.

Season Two Content

A new Sprint Race event, “Miami 2025,” runs from August 20 to September 17.It’s the second “Sprint Race Revisited” challenge.

Vehicle Updates

For PC players, brake and wet weather lights show correctly when Path Tracing is on. Also, APXGP cars now have the correct Mercedes engine sound in all game modes. Plus, a DRS indicator light was added to APXGP car steering wheels. Another fix ensures Red Bull’s front wing looks fully damaged when it’s supposed to.

Career Mode

The My Team career mode now has better-balanced Facility Upgrades. This makes your team-building journey smoother and more fun.

Multiplayer Fix

In multiplayer lobbies, switching car categories as the host no longer hides the Select Livery tab for other players. Now, everyone can choose their car designs easily.

Controller Support

This update adds support for three new racing wheels: Turtle Beach VelocityOne Race KD3, VelocityOne F-RX Formula Wheel, and Racer Wireless Racing Wheel. This means more players can enjoy a realistic driving experience.

Audio Improvement

The race engineer no longer says the wrong driver’s name when someone enters the pits. Now, you’ll hear the correct name every time.

User Interface (UI)

During Qualifying Sessions, the “Time Remaining” display now sits below “Best,” “Previous,” and “Delta” on the screen. You can also move these elements around in the OSD customization menu for a layout that suits you.

Other Notes on Fixes and Improvements

Tire types at Montreal, Silverstone, and Spa now match real-world races. Additionally, the Decal Editor got small fixes for better placement of numbers and sponsor logos.
