Qualifying for the eNASCAR College iRacing Series at Michigan Speedway has officially kicked off, offering a chance for collegiate racers to earn a scholarship.
The eNASCAR College iRacing Series is back with an exciting qualifying round at Michigan International Speedway. Collegiate iRacers have until November 14th to set their best times and compete for a shot at scholarship prizes.
Using iRacing’s Time Attack mode, racers aim to post their quickest laps in this special qualifying session. Only the top performers who meet eligibility requirements will move on to the main race on November 19, where they’ll compete for a share of $60,000 in scholarship money awarded throughout the year.
How It Works
- The eNASCAR College iRacing Series gives college racers a unique chance to represent their schools while racing top-level NASCAR trucks. Drivers will compete in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series vehicles, making the competition even more intense.
- To keep things fair and representative, each school can only have one driver in the race. With hundreds of schools and drivers eager to qualify, the stakes are high for each racer.
Qualifying Process
All registered drivers will participate in iRacing’s Time Attack mode, where they must clock their best lap time to earn a spot in the final lineup. Out of all the entries, only 40 will qualify for race day, a narrowed-down field set to compete live for an audience on eNASCAR.com.
Steps to Qualify
- Register for eligibility. (If you have already registered for a past event, you’re set.)
- Join the official Time Attack session on iRacing.
- Inside the iRacing UI, go to “Go Racing,” select “Time Attack Competitions,” and find the “eNASCAR College iRacing Series” event.
These simple steps will set you up for your chance to represent your school and race against other top collegiate drivers on race day, November 19th. A global audience will watch as the 40 fastest racers battle it out for a share of the scholarship fund.
