The new build from iRacing season 3 brings a wealth of new content and improvements, making the racing experience more varied, realistic, and enjoyable for all users.

iRacing has rolled out an exciting new build in season 3 2024, packed with updates that promise to enhance the racing experience for all users.

New Cars

The latest build introduces two standout American GT3 cars:

Ford Mustang GT3: This car marks Ford’s return to major international sports car racing. It’s based on the 2024 Mustang Dark Horse and is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.4-liter Coyote V8 engine.

Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R: The Z06 GT3.R is Chevrolet’s new entry into GT3 racing. It inherits many components from the C8R GTE it replaces, including a powerful 5.5-liter LT6-based V8 engine.

Street Stocks

To add more variety to the Street Stock field, iRacing has introduced two new models:

Eagle and Casino: These new cars are available as a 2-for-1 deal and will participate in all Street Stock series.

Panther: The original Street Stock has been renamed to Panther and remains free for all users.

New Tracks

The new build also brings three new tracks to explore:

Circuito de Navarra: Opened in 2010, this is one of Spain’s most modern circuits. It features three layouts, with the primary 2.44-mile, 15-turn Speed Circuit included for free as part of the iRacing subscription.

Sachsenring: Located in Saxony, this is one of Germany’s easternmost racing circuits. It’s a popular venue for touring car and open-wheel races, including regular appearances on the DTM calendar.

Oswego Speedway: One of New York’s most prominent ovals, Oswego hosts a diverse range of short-track racing events. The dirt configuration of the track will be available in a patch later this

season and will be free for anyone who purchases the track.

Updates

Several key updates have been made to improve the realism and functionality of the game:

NASCAR Truck Series: Extensive aerodynamic and chassis updates, alongside a new damage model, provide the most realistic experience yet.

Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992): This car has received a thorough set of updates, including a complete rework of its tires, updated car systems and specifications, adjustable anti-roll bars and rear wings during pit stops, and the ability to race in the rain.

Rain Tires: Joining the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) on rain tires are the new GT3s, the entire GT4 class, the Ligier JS P320 LMP3, and the Global Mazda MX-5 Cup.

New Damage Model: The New Damage Model (NDM) project has been completed, and now all cars in iRacing feature the most modern damage parameters available.

Stats and Results

Enhancements have also been made to the stats and results features:

Driver Leaderboard: A new tab has been added to the Stats page, providing a comprehensive leaderboard for drivers.

Race Results: The race results now include the iRacing Event Log, Lap Graph, and Lap Chart, offering more detailed insights into race performance.

This new build from iRacing brings a wealth of new content and improvements, making the racing experience more varied, realistic, and enjoyable for all users.
