We have investigated reports from a number of players that they experienced matchmaking issues during the ‘TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GT Cup 2023’ Round 5 held on Sunday, 16 July.

After checking the data, we can confirm that there were no issues with the game’s matchmaking function during this race.

Incidentally, we also received feedback that because players cannot see that their driver rating has changed before or after a race in Gran Turismo 7, it could lead to the result of the matchmaking being doubted.

In response to these events, we will look at ways to improve game functionality to prevent any such confusion in the future.

We thank the entire Gran Turismo community for their valuable feedback and hope you will continue to enjoy Gran Turismo 7!
