2023 Alpine Esports Series Driver And Commentator Lineup Revealed

The 2023 Alpine Esports Series powered by Binance has released its Official driver and commentator lineup. Starting on April 27th, you do not want to miss this!

Sim Race 247 and its sister site Grand Prix 247 is pleased to announce that it will be the Official UK Media Partners for the 2023 Alpine Esports Series powered by Binance. Ahead of the first race starting on April 27th around Circuit Paul Ricard, the broadcast will be live right here from 19:30 BST (British Summer Time) as well as Binance Live and Alpine’s YouTube and Twitch channels. The action will also be shown live on our sister publication Grand Prix 247.

Before the season gets underway, the Official driver and commentator lineup has been announced with the event details.

The world-renowned sim racing event, which is now in its third instalment, saw 2,288 drivers attempt to qualify for the series. This has since been whittled down to just 35, all vying to compete for $100,000 worth of Alpine Fan Tokens on Binance. There will also be plenty of prizes and tokens up for grabs for viewers as well, so make sure you tune in for a chance to win!

Event details

The Alpine Esports Series was started in 2021 to provide a platform for the greatest sim racers across the world to showcase their racing ability to a mass audience. Last year the live broadcasts were watched by over 250,000 people and viewership continues to increase year on year.

35 extremely talented drivers will race Alpine A110 GT4 cars across six races on three different race tracks on Assetto Corsa Competizione. The other two circuits will be Silverstone (May 11th, 19:30 BST) and Circuit Ricardo Tormo (May 25th, 19:30 BST). Each of the three days will include an Endurance race followed by a Sprint race immediately after.

He said: “Sim racing and motorsport has been such an important role in my life, not just for work, but also as a motorsport enthusiast. This partnership with Alpine Esports is a momentous moment for us here at Sim Race 247 and we look forward to the series ahead.”

The winner will not only receive $25,000 worth of Alpine Fan Tokens, they will also be rewarded with $3,000 worth of $QANX tokens, and a chance to step into a real Alpine A110 GT4 car in an exclusive driving and coaching experience.

Top-of-the-range sim racing hardware will be handed out to the top ten finishers in the series, courtesy of Alpine Esports’ partners. This includes a Trak Racer Alpine Racing TRX Sim Rig and an ADEPT gaming chair among others.

Driver lineup

2023 will see the Alpine Esports Series’ most competitive and star-studded roster of sim racers yet.

Last year’s winner, professional racing driver James Baldwin, and the 2021 Champion Jaroslav ‘Jardier’ Honzik will be returning to the series. Plenty of fresh faces will also be present, including former Ferrari Esports Champion Kamil Pawlowski.

Williams Esports driver Dennis Schöniger set the fastest qualifying time of a 1:50.940, earning himself $1,500 in Alpine Fan Tokens.

Commentators

Alpine Esports have also unveiled the broadcast lineup for the Alpine Esports Series powered by Binance.

Widely renowned F1 and iRacing sim racing commentator Jack Cunnane will head the broadcast team, with supporting commentary from two-time VCO Simmy Awards winner Lewis McGlade and Alpine Esports Ambassador Thom ‘THOMB’ Brouwer.
