Welcome to my eighty third weekly blog

VRS Endurance
Together with my partner Sophie Aeronwen, we drove 3x the VRS Endurance, 3 hours at Monza. Sophie’s goal was to get a B license, my goal was to reach the 2K iRating, on iRacing. The first race was very unlucky, already after 5 laps in the race, I got taken out on the main straight. After a 12 minute repair, we could go further. A good result wasn’t there but with our pace, which was good and consistent, we gained a lot of positions in the end! Race 2, was already a lot better, I drove the first stint and gained a lot of positions with 0x incident points, I could avoid all the incidents in front and behind, and passed a lot of other drivers. I was very happy with my pace, and consistency! After a difficult stint for Sophie, we finished P9! The 3rd race was our best result.

I qualified less but I could avoid a lot of incidents and gained a lot of positions. My pace and consistency wasn’t as good, I was very exhausted, and it showed on my driving. My driving was still ok, when I gave Sophie the car we were in P4. She was fighting hard to get on the podium, the time between P2 to P6 was not much, and we could finish in all those positions. It was very close in the end, especially for a 3 hour race! We finished P5, which is our best result in this series!! Sophie got her B license, and I reached the 2K iRating!! The new goal is 3K iRating, that will be a lot of races in the next few weeks!

Oh, what a year!
What a year 2022 has been! Traveling a lot with Sophie, racing in real life, a lot of simracing, meeting new people in the simracing world, new partnerships, our own simracing team; United Sim Team, talking on stage at the Simracing Expo, and a lot of weekly blogs for Simrace247.com!! All highlights of my year, but there were many more! It was a great year, a special one to me, and I’m looking forward to 2023! I will be racing, together with Sophie Aeronwen in real life! We are going to Las Vegas for Screen to Speed, I’m the talent manager. I can’t wait to get more female identifying people involved!! I have a few dreams where I want to work on next year, organizing community races etc.
