IUEM Endurance
On Sunday 11-12-2022, I drove the IUEM Endurance 2 Hours at Daytona, on iRacing. I was very happy to see 4x teams from the United Sim Team on the grid! It was multiclass racing, LMP2, GT3, and GT4. Patrick and Peter drove together in the LMP2, Esmeralda and I drove in the GT3, and Sophie drove in the GT4. I wasn’t fast enough to keep up with almost everyone in the GT3 class, but I knew that I drove very consistently and cleanly, which can give me some positions. I started P20 in class, on the last row of the GT3 class. My first stint was good, I was slower, but very consistent and clean, I could gain some positions! Also in my second stint, I gained positions. Unfortunately, I’ve got hit on the rear, in the braking zone from the Busstop chicane. It caused a lot of damage, and I needed to pit again. I was disappointed, because a top 10 result was there. I finished P12 in class! Patrick and Peter finished P4 in the LMP2 class! Esmeralda had a DNF, and Sophie finished P4 in the GT4 class!

Road to 2000 iRating
This week there is a great combination, the GT3 class at Monza. I’ve got some good pace, and I’ve already had 8 good races! I drove 4x the VRS Sprint, and 4x the Fanatec GT3 Challenge with a fixed setup! I’ve got 3 pole positions, 6x podiums, and 1 win!! I’m very happy with this result! I’m working hard to get 2000 iRating during the weekend. I know for some iRacing drivers, this doesn’t seem high, but I need to start somewhere! I had on Tuesday 13-12-2022, 1100 iRating, now I have 1761 iRating and an A class license! I’m driving this weekend 2x the VRS Endurance together with Sophie Aeronwen, to get her B license, and I want to achieve 2000 iRating!

New helmet
Thanks to Pro-Racing I’ve got my new helmet! Stilo 8860!! I’m very happy, and excited about my new comfortable helmet! A new paint will come soon on my helmet, the mountains will be part of it, and the front of my helmet will change a little bit!
