Hello and welcome to my 40th blog! I repeat, 40th blog! Can’t believe it’s been 10 months since I’m writing a weekly blog on simrace247.com. Almost a year! Time flies, I remember when the first time I wrote a blog I didn’t know what to bring on my blog, I didn’t know if I could do this for a long run. I feel like I don’t have talent at writing. But look at me now, I’m a resident blogger and the ambassador of simrace247. Writing a blog is a fun thing to do in sim racing for me. I feel that I learned more about sim racing through writing. I have improved a lot since then. Huge thanks to Darren for the opportunity! I wouldn’t be a person as I am today without his support!

I hope you guys are doing well. It’s getting cold here, make sure to take good care of yourself and drink enough water. This week is quite busy for me, many big events are coming up next week so I spend my time practicing and streaming. I will try to stream at least 4 hours a day and do more racing in every sim (iRacing, ACC, GT7, and many more).

I did some races on iRacing, it was pretty fun. I’ll be focusing more on iRacing from now on. Will I still be racing on ACC? Probably yes. Maybe I will do some endurances on ACC once in a while  in the near future. But for now, I want to put extra effort and time to get better on iRacing and try to win something here. Maybe I am losing the fun on ACC at the moment, or maybe I want to chase another win on another sim. As you guys know, I won a championship on ACC last year. I want to win in other sim, it’s like a challenge for me. I’m glad I have lots of friends who support my decision and taught me how to get better in sim racing. I have the best people around me.

IMSA Series at Imola

On week 11th of the IMSA iRacing Series we were racing at Imola. It was a multiclass series; you can choose between LMP2 car and GT3 car. Imola is a tough track for me, that’s why I focused on this series last week to learn more about this track and try to get better and better.

I can say learning this track on iRacing is pretty fun. I found it easy to spot my mistakes and try to do better on the next lap. I took the Mercedes AMG for this series, and driving the AMG feels pretty good also. I feel most confident driving the AMG at this track.

I quite enjoyed racing at this track, although some corners were a problem; especially in the Acque Minerali. I lost so much time there but now I started to understand how to approach those corners. Hope I can improve my lap time when I’m racing this track.

Having an LMP2 car around the track has its own challenge. I realized that every time I gave my way to the LMP2 car, my opponents would catch me pretty fast. It was such a disadvantage for me. Luckily I got my pace and I could defend my position.

I had a good race after all, I improved my lap time as well, and the most important thing is; I can actually race on iRacing. I was still adapting to it (because moving from ACC to iRacing is a pretty huge thing for me) but I can say I am getting better at iRacing. I feel more confident; I even got a podium during my qualifying. Every session always excites me. I’m willing to learn more.

I gained SR and iR on my races in this series, which were great! I’m setting up a target to be at least at 1500iR by the end of 2022. I lost so many iR in the past when I was focused on gaining SR and reach the A class. But now I reached A class, it’s time to gain iR.

Gran Turismo 7 Stream

On Tuesday and Wednesday I decided to have some GT7 streams, to get the feeling of racing in GT7. I still need to adapt to the physics of the game, but all is well. Should be no big deal. And for this race I’m taking my T-GT II wheel. It is probably the best wheel for you to play Gran Turismo. I love the feeling of rumble on my pedals and wheels when racing, It feels really fantastic, you can actually feel the details of your car and the track. You can get the T-GT II like mine on Thrustmaster’s website.

I will have a 24H race with Yvonne Houffelaar, Sophie Aeronwen, and more. So excited but nervous to share the track with these wonderful sim racers, this is gonna be my first endurance race on Gran Turismo. We’ll be racing at Le Mans, it’s a wonderful and challenging track. We’ll be racing in the GR. 1 car. I will share any updates about this race on my social media.

This Saturday I’ll have a charity race with Annie Rabbets, Daniel Morad, Casey Kirwan, Ash Vandelay, and many more. I’m so excited to race with the legends of iRacing, I will stream my race on Saturday, December 3rd 2022 at 12:30 CT. Come join my stream and say hi in chat!
