Hello and welcome to my 39th blog! I hope you are all doing well. This week isn’t as busy as before, I just had a race in the More Female Racers and did some races in iRacing. I will spend more time in iRacing and try to gain iRating as much as I can. I will stream my race on Twitch (twitch.tv/elzindriani) this week from Thursday – Saturday at 8PM CST.

Alright, let’s see how my races went on the MFR S5 powered by Mercedes AMG!

On the third round of More Female Racers Season 5 we were racing in Imola. It’s a tricky track, I find it very challenging to race at this track. And I don’t have a good memory of racing at this track. I didn’t get enough practice for this round; I was busy with events and other races in iRacing. I needed to practice smarter (not harder) and try to use all the time I’ve got to prepare everything for the race.

I didn’t feel confident like I was in the previous race, I only got 5 hours of practice in total. Luckily I made a pretty good setup that suits my driving, so driving this car at this track wasn’t really a problem, I needed to work better on my pace.

I had a problem during the Qualifying, I can’t really push myself to the limit. I didn’t know why, I wasn’t sure. But yeah, qualifying didn’t work out for me. I started from P10 in class; it wasn’t good, nothing to be proud of. But once again, I didn’t get enough practice for this round, so I had to manage my expectations at this race. I wouldn’t do aggressive moves and harm other drivers. I played it safe and tried to collect the freebies along the way.

First race went pretty well for me. Although there were still mistakes here and there, I managed to finish at P7 and had nice battles and overtakes with others. We even made a three wide finish crossing the finish line and that was really cool.

Second race went pretty bad for me. I was involved in a crash (someone in front of me spun and lost control of her car then she hit me on the left side of the car). My car got 28s of damage, I lost my top speed, couldn’t really push with almost 30 seconds of damage. I couldn’t do a repair, it was just a 30 mins race and we didn’t have time for that. I needed to drive a broken car and tried to do my best in this race.

I finished at P11 in the second race, not the result I wanted but it is what it is. I will try to do better in the next round. Hopefully I’ll have a lot of time for practice; next round we’ll be racing in Kyalami, I’ve never raced at this track before so I’m gonna need a lot of time to practice. On the other hand, I feel happy that we’ll be racing in Kyalami, it’s a new track for me and it’s gonna be a new experience for me to learn sim racing.

Next week I’ll have a charity race with Annie Rabbets, Daniel Morad, Casey Kirwan, Ash Vandelay, and many more. I’m so excited to race with these people, they’re all well-known streamers on Twitch and their achievements are amazing! I feel honoured to share the track with them. Catch up my stream on December 3rd, I will post more details on my Twitter and Facebook Page.

And, of course. We will do lots of races on the weekdays. Which series should I take for next week?
