Hello everyone and welcome to my 36th blog in simrace247! Hope you are all doing well. This week I’ve been busy with meetings and content planning, and also did a lot of practice on ACC because this month I’ll be competing in several championships on ACC, so excited!

FRL Timpson Super Sprint GT3 S3 R1 – Barcelona

I’m so excited to get back to racing in this another FRL championship. I had lots of races in their leagues and I know some names on the grid.

We were racing in Barcelona in the first round of the season. I’m driving the Aston Martin V8. Barcelona is my strong track; Although I like the feeling of driving this car, I still struggle scoring a good lap time here. But I started to understand more about this track and I can see my progress. I just need to spend more time pushing at this track.

The race format in this championship is different from other races I had before. It’s a 2 x 25 mins race and there were 44 cars on the grid. My friend J. Damstra is also racing in this championship so it’s gonna be a fun race for me. And racing at this track feels less stressful when you have your friend joining the voice chat.

We decided to not do qualifying and start from the back. With 44 cars on the grid we expected so much chaos in the first lap.

I made a mistake during the formation lap, I think I was too far behind so I got teleported to the pit and got my controller locked for 30 seconds. That was really unfortunate for me, I didn’t know back then if I still could do my best to gain a position. Just tried to do my best and see the result at the end of the race. First race went well for me, I had some clean battles and an overtake. From last to P12 wasn’t bad after all.

The second race was bad for me. Well, at first it was fine, I avoided some incident, had a clean battle and overtake which I should feel proud of. Didn’t expect to have a pretty nice race at this track tbh.

Unfortunately, I got hit at the right rear by another car after he rejoined back to track, and the other car behind me was also involved in that incident (he couldn’t avoid it at the moment I believe). The car got some damages but still ok to finish the race.

Then I got hit by another car in lap 7 while we were battling into the T7. I lost my position and the car felt so understeer after a few incidents, it was pretty stressful at the moment. I finished at P14, that’s the best I can do for now. Currently at #13 on standings, next up is Imola. I’m more familiar with this track than Barcelona, so I hope I can do better in the next round. I’m quite excited to race in Imola, we’ll have some races at this track next week and I will stream it on my twitch! www.twitch.tv/elzindriani.

More Female Racers S5 R2 coming up on Monday, and FRL Timpson Super Sprint GT3 S3 R2 on Tuesday. I will spend more time practicing, I won’t be streaming on the weekend. I will be back on streaming Monday at 1PM CST and Tuesday at 2PM CST. Then we’ll do some racing on iRacing or GT7 from Wednesday to Friday. I will do some endurances and might join other leagues on ACC so I might stream in the afternoon as well. Make sure to follow my Twitch to see more racing.

I will back with lots of race reports, some news, and many more. See you all next week on my 37th weekly blog!
