The 2022 VCO Simmy Awards is now open. The who’s who and most voted for categories in sim racing is now open between Nov 4th-13th.
If can think of a few people that deserve some great credit in the sim racing genre, now is your chance to cast a vote as the 2022 VCO Simmy Awards is now open.
THE COMPETITION
Who was last season’s best Esports racer? Which was the best team? Who raced in the most spectacular livery in 2022? Virtual Competition Organisation (VCO) will answer these questions and more at the end-of-year VCO SIMMY AWARDS. The “SIMMY” allows VCO to recognise extraordinary Esports racing performances in eleven categories and to present the year’s top contenders.
THE NOMINATION PHASE
Between 4th and 13th November, the Esports community has the opportunity to submit its nominations in the categories within the VCO SIMMY AWARDS. The top-class SIMMY jury will also propose what it feels are the most worthy nominations. The combined top five nominations will then be voted on by the community and the jury in the voting phase.
THE VOTING PHASE
The winners of the VCO SIMMY AWARDS will be determined during the voting phase, from 15th to 28th November 2022. The votes of the community make up 50 percent of the final decision, the second 50 percent is decided by the SIMMY jury. In 2022, the jury consists of the following:
- Luca Munro (Overtake.gg)
- Tom Harrison-Lord (Traxion.gg)
- Nathan Quinn (THE RACE)
- David Perel (The Sim Grid)
- Steve Worrell (Sim Racing GP)
- Tom Bunton (Grid Finder)
