KNAF Digital
On Monday 26-09-2022, was the final round of the KNAF Digital Gran Turismo 7 summer beta! The race was 40 minutes at Laguna Seca, with the Mazda MX5. I didn’t have time to practice, it would be a tough race but I was looking forward to driving at Laguna Seca. I qualified P10, and I knew what my strategy would be, because Sophie tested it earlier. She was also driving in this race, and had a very good race!

I started on the medium tire, trying to keep the tires alive as long as possible, and drive the tank empty. I gained a few positions, but also lost the car ones, this cost me a lot of time. My second stint was on the soft tires, it means more grip, and lower fuel. My lap times were improving every lap, I already drove with a gap in front and behind me. A shame that I didn’t have time to practice, a much better result was in this race! I finished P8, which was still my best result of this season! Sophie finished P2!

CC Sim Racing AWRS
On Monday 26-09-2022, started season 2 of the CC Sim Racing All Women Racing Series. 2 x 10 minutes races, at Sardegna Road Track CII, with the Volkswagen Scirocco. I didn’t know about this track on Gran Turismo Sport, until we started practising for this race. I qualified P4, luckily my race pace was a little bit better. But due to a few hits and divebombs, I couldn’t catch up with the top 3 anymore, and I finished P4. The second race was with a reversed grid start.

I started at P11, a better result was in there. Unfortunately, the race was a mess, the driving standards were not good! A lot of bumping and leaning, which hurt my wrist a lot, and I didn’t enjoy the race at all. I finished P5. Sophie had 2 very good races, and won both of the races! I doubt if I wanted to go further this season, but I decided to drive it and help Soph where needed to win the championship. I’m currently at P3 in the championship standings but already 24 points behind. I hope the driving standards will be better for the next race, fingers crossed!! The next round will be on Monday 10-10-2022.

Racing Pride
On Sunday 25-09-2022, Sophie and I were at Donington Park. To meet the co-founder Richard Morris from Racing Pride. It was a great day, he drove 2 races. The second race he won his class. It was great to meet and get to know more about Racing Pride. It will be interesting what we can do in the future, and I’m looking forward to that.. More to come!
