HyperX Alloy Origins Core TKL keyboard Review

HyperX Alloy Origins Core TKL keyboard Review

Comfortable, productive and great for gaming. The HyperX Alloy Origins Core TKL keyboard is perfect for your daily requirements.

The HyperX Alloy Origins Core TKL is a keyboard I was looking forward to from HyperX. Is it loaded with all the great features and design we expect from HyperX? Let’s get into it. Weighing in at 900 grams, the sturdy and solid feel of the full aluminum body of the keyboard is just right, with the dimensions of  35.81 x 12.95 x 3.56 cm. Mounted on my Sim Rig, it is not too imposing and I feel the size is just right.

The custom HyperX mechanical switches are really nice, they look cool, and have a great tactile feel that is reassuring to know it is engaged as you press a key. As you would expect, the keys are well illuminated with RGB that are supported by the HyperX NGENUITY Software. Under the keyboard (base) is three different tilt levels that are adjustable to get the desired height and comfort.

Plugging the keyboard in with the detachable USB Type-C cable is simple and straight forward, but also a big positive that makes everything that bit easier if you wish to move it around. From a work perspective and for those that would use this for productivity aside from gaming, I feel it is the perfect balance of build quality with ease of access for what you need to do. It may be an odd thing to say, but I am sure people will understand that ” this is a comfortable keyboard” it does exactly what I require without any issues or glitches. Would I recommend it also to the FPS gamer or adventurer etc, absolutely.

We would like to thank HyperX as always, for being a great official peripheral partner with Simrace247.com.

Let’s gets some official notes on the HyperX Alloy Origins Core TKL

HyperX mechanical switches – The key switches are custom-designed to be a balance of responsiveness and accuracy, featuring a short travel time and low actuation force. They’re also reliable, rated for 80 million keypresses with no loss of quality.

Full aircraft-grade aluminum body – The aluminum casing keeps the keyboard structurally sound and stable when the action gets intense and the game hangs in the balance; battle after battle, night after night.

Ultra-compact TKL design with detachable USB Type-C cable – The sleek tenkeyless form factor gives you more space for rapid mouse movements, especially in desktop setups that are too tight for a full-sized keyboard. It also has a detachable cable so it’s easy to take on the go.

Advanced customization with HyperX NGENUITY Software – Customize Game Mode, take greater control over lighting effects, and set up your own macros.

Three adjustable keyboard tilt angles – Adjust the two-step keyboard feet for three different angle settings (3°, 7°, or 11°), whichever makes your wrists the most comfortable.

Onboard memory for three profiles – Create your own custom-designed lightshows, save them directly to the keyboard, and take them with you on the go.

Game Mode, 100% anti-ghosting, and N-key rollover – Ensure that all your keypresses register and that you’re not accidentally taking yourself out of the game in key moments.

RGB backlit keys with radiant lighting effects – HyperX mechanical switches feature an exposed LED for brighter, more luminous RGB lighting.
