SLP European Tour
On Wednesday 20-07-2022, was round 6 of the SLP European Tour, at Monza. It was a race that needed to go well, unfortunately, I didn’t have the winning pace. I gave it my all, and tried to keep up with the top 2, this was very difficult. My lap times weren’t too bad, and they were very consistent. I needed to have a good result, to gain places in the championship, from P3 to P10, there is only 1 point difference in each place. I missed 1 race, because of my real life racing, and I knew I needed to finish in the top 2. Sophie was driving in front of me, drove a very good season, and is the championship leader! She gave me P2, and now there is a chance that I will get on the championship podium. The last race is Wednesday 27-07-2022, at the Nürburgring. I will give it all, and hopefully, I can get P3 in the championship, fingers are crossed!!

GGG Formula-G
On Monday 25-07-2022, was the final round of the GrandpaGoesGaming Formula-G. After a recount of the championship points, it turns out that I was 8 points behind the championship leader. We didn’t know that the Superpole also gives points, this is the reason why I’m 8 points behind instead of 1 point in front.. I qualified for the Superpole, unfortunately, my lap wasn’t good enough for the top 3, to get points.

The championship leader won the Superpole, and it means that I needed to gain 14 points. This was going to be very tough. I started P5, this race is all about fuel saving, because of the boost from P6 I was a bit stuck. I couldn’t get away from the pack, the boost from them was too strong. It didn’t matter if I drove in Map 6 or Map 1, they could easily drive the same pace. Trying to overtake and I only lost time.. This was also the championship decider, the leader won, and I finished at P5. I ended up P2 in the championship, which is good, but I’m also a bit disappointed. I practiced a lot for this race, and hoped for a much better result in the race!

My first race for Team BRIT
On the weekend from the 30th and 31st of July, is our first race, at Snetterton! I drive together with Steve Crompton, in the Volkswagen Scirocco. It will be our first time driving in the Volkswagen Scirocco. I like to be prepared, and it makes me a little bit nervous without practicing with the car, right away to the racing weekend. Although I like a challenge, I will give it my all! It’s a 3 hours race, and the most important thing is that we finish the race.

A podium will be amazing, but the goal is finishing and getting experience with the car and racing! A race is different, then a track or test day. I’m looking forward to the race, when the streaming link is available, I will share it on my discord channel, and socials!

Upcoming races:

  • SLP European Tour at Nürburgring
  • Motor Club Enduro 750, 3 hours at Snetterton
