There is definitely a Track Limits Issue at COTA in Assetto Corsa Competizione that needs to be sorted. It should be a nice simple fix right?
New releases of content will always have their teething problems, but this Track Limits Issue at COTA in Assetto Corsa Competizione is driving people mad. Knowing great people in the sim racing community is always a bonus, Brandon from Unleashed Drivers is a top guy and racer. But did you know that if you race COTA like a real race car driver (Watch GT3 racing series etc) you get lap invalidated so many times, it could be the new ACC meme. This may be something that needs to be looked at by the dev team. We have also had reports from various people in our community that this is also affecting them as well with their racing and series events.
Unless COTA has some special rules in place that only applies to this track, it does not fall in line with the track limits that are addressed to other tracks in Assetto Corsa Competizione. Some may say its fine, but this does seem a bit odd on how strict the track limits are compared to others.
Designed to innovate, Assetto Corsa Competizione will set to promote eSports, bringing players at the heart of the GT World Challenge and putting them behind the wheel of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, McLarens and many other prestigious GT racing cars, all reproduced with outstanding level of detail.
